Letter: Buses are more efficient

By Joe Blatner Sr., VANCOUVER

I’m all for the bridge; it’s light rail that I oppose. Look at Portland — the infrastructure is gone, but they have light rail which costs, on average, nearly $100 million per mile.

Look at the traffic problems caused mostly by not keeping up with the population with highway modifications or additions.

The bus system in Vancouver-Portland is much more efficient.
