A Camas woman went missing Wednesday morning after dropping her children off at school, and the Camas Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find her.

According to the Camas police, Alisha McRay, 40, was last seen Wednesday morning after dropping off the kids. Her family reported her missing that evening after she didn’t pick up one of the children from school.

The police said the family is concerned because that was “out of character” for McRay.

Searching officers found McRay’s car parked at the public parking lot for Lacamas Lake off of Northeast Everett Street.

The Portland Police Bureau sent an infrared camera-equipped plane to help with the search, but they didn’t find her. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office joined the search Thursday morning, but was also unsuccessful.

McCray was described as a white woman, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 220 pounds with blue eyes and blond hair.

The department asked anyone with information helpful to the search to call 360-834-4151.
