Vancouver Community Concert Band seeks all brass, woodwind and percussion players, active and retired. All abilities welcome; no audition required. The volunteer community band, along with its polka band, Dixieland Jazz Band and chamber ensembles, performs regularly around the area. Amboy Territorial Days seeks submissions for its annual Photography Show, open to all ages. Ribbons will be awarded in five categories: portrait, landscape/seascape, animal/plant, buildings, work/play, along with the People’s Choice Award. Participants are limited to three photographs, mounted on 8 by 10 inch backing. Downtown Camas Association seeks submissions from local artists of all ages to create pieces for promotional items that reflect the character of downtown Camas. Clark County Open Studios Tour seeks artists living and working in Clark County for the self-guided studio tour in November. The juried process will select artists working in any medium for the tour. Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge seeks submissions for its annual Refuge Photography Contest. Photographers can submit up to six nature images taken within the boundaries of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. Prizes will be awarded to both adult and youth entries.
