Shooting injures 1 at S.E. Portland apartments

Portland — Portland police say a man was taken to a hospital with an apparent non-fatal gunshot wound after being shot at a Southeast Portland apartment complex early Thursday.

The shooting was reported about 4:35 a.m. at the Jamboree Apartments at 9219 Southeast Stark Street in the Montavilla neighborhood. An officer applied a tourniquet on the injured man before he was taken to a hospital and no suspects were found at the scene, police said.

Police have not said where the man was shot.

No one else was injured and police said there isn’t any available suspect information. The identity of the injured man has also not been released. The case is being investigated as a possible robbery, police said.
