Evergreen Habitat for Humanity to hold information sessions

The nonprofit Evergreen Habitat for Humanity will begin accepting applications for its homeownership program starting Oct. 14. People can learn more at orientations happening next month:

• 9 a.m. Oct. 14 at 907 Harney St.

• 1 p.m. Oct. 14 at 907 Harney St.

• 6 p.m. Oct. 26 at Evergreen Habitat for Humanity’s office at 10811 S.E. Second St.

Register for one of the sessions by calling 360-737-1759 or melissa@ehfh.org. Applications are available through Nov. 14.

The homeownership program is aimed at individuals and families who have steady income and earn between 35 and 60 percent of the area median income.

Program participants partner with Habitat for Humanity and help build their home, which is sold to them using a zero-percent interest loan. Visit www.ehfh.org for more information.
