AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, a free tax preparation and assistance service, is looking for volunteers in Clark and Skamania counties for the 2018 tax season.

Volunteers will help from Jan. 29 to April 17 across eight sites during the week and weekends. Volunteers will be trained on tax preparation and can be reimbursed for some expenses, the foundation said. They do not need to be an AARP member or a retiree. However, the organization is “particularly in need” of bilingual volunteers to help the growing Spanish-speaking population, the foundation said.

Last year, more than 70 volunteers helped more than 3,000 taxpayers in Clark and Skamania counties.
