Tax help available for residents of Clark, Skamania counties

Tax season is here and the AARP in Clark and Skamania counties is offering assistance.

Tax-aide sites will help prepare and e-file personal tax returns at six sites in Clark and Skamania counties Thursday through April 15. This free service is available to taxpayers of all ages and income levels. Appointments can be made online. Some sites also accept walk-ins.

Appointments can be booked at www.aarp.org/money/taxes/aarp_taxaide.

Services will be offered at the following sites:

  • Stevenson Community Library, 120 N.W. Vancouver Ave., Stevenson. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Appointments and walk-ins available. 509-427-5471.
  • Vancouver Heights United Methodist Church, 5701 MacArthur Blvd., Vancouver. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Appointments and walk-ins available.
  • Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St., Vancouver. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Saturdays. No service Feb. 19. Walk-ins only.
  • Marshall/Luepke Community Center, 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd., Vancouver. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. No service Feb. 9 or April 12. Appointments and walk-ins available.
  • Cascade Park Community Library, 600 N.E. 136th Ave., Vancouver. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Appointments and walk-ins available.
  • Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and 1 to 5 p.m. Fridays. No service Feb. 2 and 19, March 1 and April 5.
