Letter: Thanks to Clark College theater

A huge thank you to the Clark College Theater Arts Department for its fine production of the musical “Hair.” I saw the final performance on Saturday night and was impressed by how powerful and timely it still is.

Sadly, after 50 years, the themes in this play still resonate. Unnecessary war, degradation of the planet, racism, homophobia and xenophobia are still with us. The players were enthusiastic and engaging, presenting these important topics in a thoroughly enjoyable performance. I look forward to more of the same from Clark College.
