Nearly 60,000 square feet of office space has been proposed in east Vancouver. Engineering firm Mackenzie filed a pre-application with the city of Vancouver last week to build three buildings on Northeast 120th Avenue, just south of Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard.

Two two-story buildings are slated to be about 25,000 square feet, with a third, single-story building listed at 8,000 square feet. The site will have 248 parking spaces, according to the application.

Hawes Investments, listed as based in Springfield, Ore., is proposing the office park. Clark County property records show Hawes Investments paid $1.5 million in March for the 3.5-acre parcel.

City planners will meet with the applicants June 7. For more information, contact Patti McEllrath at 360-487-7893 or patti.mcellrath@cityofvancouver.us.
