Vancouver police officers responded to a report of gunfire in the Kevanna Park neighborhood Tuesday afternoon. No injuries were reported.

Officers were called to the 3500 block of Northeast 109th Avenue in the Kevanna Park area — in the southeast corner of the Interstate 205 and state Highway 500 interchange — before 4:15 p.m.

Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said later Tuesday that officers were still sorting out what happened.

She said officers didn’t find any property damage. Witnesses at the scene said someone might have been shooting in the air, she said, adding officers found spent shell casings in the area.
