Results announced for mock trial tournament

Here are the results for the annual district mock trial tournament held Thursday at the Clark County Courthouse.

• DIVISION ONE: First place, Camas first team, 6-0 (16 ballots); second place, Columbia River, 2-4 (8 ballots); third place (tie), Ridgefield, 2-4 (6 ballots), Skills Center second team, 2-4 (6 ballots).

• DIVISION TWO: First place, Camas second team, 5-1 (15 ballots); second place, Columbia (White Salmon), 4-2 (11 ballots); Skills Center first team, 2-4 (7 ballots); fourth place, Hudson’s Bay,1-5 (3 ballots).

• BEST WITNESS: Division One (tie), Sarah Kaufman, Ridgefield, and Zane Shariff, Camas first team; Division Two, Savannah Deoschand, Camas second team; Tournament, Savannah Deoschand, Camas second team.

• BEST ATTORNEY: Division One, Matt Svilar, Camas first team; Division Two (tie), Baylee Allen, Camas second team, and Cody Hipskind, Columbia (White Salmon); Tournament (tie), Baylee Allen, Camas second team and Cody Hipskind, Columbia (White Salmon).
