EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Eugene police say a man wanted for three bank robberies has been arrested — and it turns out he is a bit of a TV star.

Police said Thursday that 23-year-old Joshua Tel Warner, formerly of Oakridge, was picked up in Illinois on a warrant charging him with one Eugene bank robbery in 2007 and two in 2009.

Police say he is the same Josh Warner who appears as a greenhorn deckhand on the king crab fishing boat Wizard on the Discovery Channel’s show “Deadliest Catch.”
