EASTON, Pa. (AP) — Ryan Willen, Jared Mintz and Nick Petkovich scored 14 points each to lead five Lafayette players in double figures in a 95-73 blowout victory over Susquehanna on Wednesday night.

The Leopards (2-6) led 47-39 at halftime thanks to a 30-12 scoring advantage in the paint, a 12-1 edge on second-chance points and 20 points off of 12 turnovers.

The Crusaders (1-5) shot 13 for 23 in the first half (56.5 percent), but a 9-of-24 shooting performance in the second allowed Lafayette to pull away.

Two free throws from Rob Estep at the 14:26 mark of the second half kept the Crusaders’ deficit at eight, 58-50. But a 24-11 run by Lafayette over the next 7:57 gave the Leopards a commanding 82-61 lead.

Rob Delaney and Levi Giese scored 10 points each for Lafayette, which ended the game with 34 points off 22 Crusaders’ turnovers.

JT Wilson scored a game-high 22 points for Susquehanna in the loss.
