Interstate 5 motorists should beware of multiple openings of the southbound Interstate 5 drawbridge tonight.

The lifts will begin at 9 p.m. and last through 5 a.m., according to a news release from the Oregon Department of Transportation.

The lifts will affect the southbound span.

Each lift will last about 15-20 minutes. The lifts allow crews to perform cable oiling and other routine maintenance.

Motorists on I-5 southbound should expect delays during this work.
