SEATTLE (AP) — An early morning injury fire at a fourplex in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood was started by a problem with electrical wiring.

Fire Department spokeswoman Helen Fitzpatrick says the fire started inside a wall at the house that had been converted into four apartments.

When firefighters arrived about 3 a.m. they found flames from the porch to the attic.

Two men were injured escaping the flames. One man who jumped out a second-floor window injured his ankle. Another resident suffered burns on his hands and feet. Both were taken to Harborview Medical Center. Two other people inside got out safely.

Damage is estimated at $215,000.
