Athlete of the year

Jon Lawson, jr., Prairie: Class 3A state champion in shot put; state runner-up in the discus.

Rest of All-Region team

Blake Bier, sr., Prairie: Class 3A pole vault state champion.

Kyle Boe, sr., Columbia River: Placed fourth in 1,600 meters at 3A state meet; fifth in 3,200 meters.

Chase Horrocks, sr., Skyview: Placed sixth in the 1,600 meters at 4A state meet; also a state qualifier at 800 meters.

Sean Keller, so., Heritage: Placed third in the javelin at 4A state meet.

Jason Jones, sr., Camas: Placed fourth in the pole vault at 3A state meet.

Brad Michael, jr., Skyview: Class 4A Greater St. Helens co-track athlete of the year.

Mikey Lauritzen, sr., Camas: Placed fourth in the 110-meter hurdles and the javelin at the 3A state meet.

Matthew Lloyd, sr., Camas: Placed second in the shot put at 3A state meet; placed fourth in discus.

Austin McCrum, sr., Stevenson: Class 1A pole vault state champion; cleared third-best height in state at any classification.

Kinsley Ojukwu, sr., Union: Placed third in the triple jump at 3A state meet; placed fourth in 100 meters.

Jacob Troupé, jr., Union: Class 3A high jump state champion.
