ST. HELENS, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say a Lynnwood, Wash., woman has died of injuries she suffered in a head-on collision between a car and a tractor-trailer rig on Oregon Highway 30.

Lt. Gregg Hastings said Friday that 44-year-old Julie Lynn DeAngelo was airlifted from Thursday’s crash to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, where she later died.

State police say a car driven by DeAngelo crossed the center line and collided with a Freightliner truck pulling two empty tanker trailers. The truck was driven by 46-year-old Robert Baldwin of Milwaukie, who was not injured.

The accident occurred near St. Helens, northwest of Portland.
