PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Fire officials are investigating a blaze at a century-old vacant building in northwest Portland that caused about $241,000 in damages.
Firefighters were called around 7:30 p.m. Saturday to battle a fire at a three-story structure that once housed Molly Maguire’s Bar and Grill.
No injuries were reported.
The Oregonian reports that the blaze apparently started in the basement of the boarded-up building, which borders the main railroad tracks serving the north end of the Union Station trail yard.
