KENNEWICK, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says a seatbelt likely saved the life of the driver of a semi-truck that flipped off a Highway 395 overpass at Kennewick and landed on Highway 240 below.

The Tri-City Herald reports the driver suffered only cuts and bruises on his arms after Monday’s crash on the wet roadway. No one on the ground was hit.
