CLOVERDALE, Ore. (AP) — Tillamook County fire officials say a fire in the Oregon coastal town of Cloverdale burned three buildings including a fire station on Friday.

Fire officials say the blaze that started at mid-afternoon destroyed an auto parts store and the fire station and extensively damaged another auto parts store. The fire was under control by Friday night.

Tillamook County Emergency Management Director Gordon McCraw says some families living near the fire were evacuated, but no injuries have been reported.

More than 100 firefighters responded to the four-alarm blaze. Portions of U.S. 101 were closed in the area.

Cloverdale is about 20 miles north of Lincoln City.
