Ore. man dies in armored truck crash

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — An Oregon man has died of injuries sustained in the rollover crash of an armored truck.

The Statesman Journal reported that 22-year-old Joseph Michael Pablo Jr. of Corvallis was a passenger in the rear of the Loomis armored truck when the driver lost control Wednesday on Highway 99W near Monmouth.

Pablo was critically injured and taken by medical helicopter to Good Samaritan Regional Hospital in Corvallis, where he died Thursday.

James Russell, 22, of Carlton was cited for careless driving.
