A 55-year-old motorcyclist suffered significant leg injuries in an accident Friday night in Vancouver.

The crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. at the intersection of Columbia House Boulevard and Grand Avenue, said Capt. Kevin Murray of the Vancouver Fire Department.

The man, whose name was not available late Friday, was transported to a local hospital, with a fire paramedic assisting the ambulance crew, Murray said.

Murray said police were still trying to determine the circumstances of the crash.
