Pacers win first preseason game

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Danny Granger scored 30 points and the Indiana Pacers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 98-86 in an NBA preseason game Wednesday night.

Granger scored 17 of his points in the second half for Indiana, which won its first game of the preseason. Minnesota had been unbeaten in three preseason games.

Darren Collison added 19 points and Paul George had 10 for the Pacers.

Luke Ridnour led Minnesota with 11 points.
