AC Milan beats Napoli 2-1 to move past Inter

NAPLES, Italy (AP) — AC Milan, behind goals by Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, beat 10-man Napoli on Monday to overtake Inter Milan and move into second place in the Italian league.

Robinho put Milan in front in the 22nd minute after Massimo Oddo passed to the open striker. Ibrahimovic made it 2-0 with a header following another cross from Oddo in the 72nd. Ezequiel Lavezzi scored for Napoli in the 78th minute.

Napoli was reduced to 10 men when Michele Pazienza picked up his second yellow card for a hand ball near midfield during first-half added time.

Lazio leads Serie A with 19 points, while Milan has 17 and Inter 15. Milan plays Juventus on Saturday.
