A 16-year-old boy injured in a Sept. 12 auto crash has been upgraded to stable condition, according to a police spokeswoman. The boy’s name was not released.

The boy was initially listed in critical condition following an early morning crash in the 17400 block of Southeast 25th Street.

Three other injured teens have been released from the hospital.

Vancouver police identified one of them as Klaus Stump, 18, but would not give the names of others.

Both excessive speed and alcohol were believed to be factors in the crash.

An investigation by the police department’s traffic unit is ongoing, Kim Kapp, a police spokeswoman, said Tuesday.

“The case is still active,” Kapp said.
