Searchers spent Monday night looking for a Tacoma man who wandered away from his group Monday afternoon while picking mushrooms just south of Randle in Skamania County.

The 84-year-old was reported missing about a half mile from the Adams Fork campground shortly after 6 p.m. Monday night. His friends say they hadn’t seen him since 3 p.m.

On Tuesday evening, Skamania sheriff’s officials said the man had not been found.
