Three urban forestry commissioners needed

The city of Vancouver is seeking applicants to fill one full-term and two mid-term vacancies on the Urban Forestry Commission.

The commission, made up of seven citizen members, assists the city’s Urban Forestry Program in its efforts to enhance Vancouver by managing and conserving trees, now and for future generations, according to a news release.

The Vancouver City Council appoints commission members. The commission meets from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. May 30. There is no city residency requirement.
