EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Everett police and fire investigators are looking into two early morning fires. They believe the Saturday fires could have been intentionally set.

The first fire was reported around 3:44 a.m. by a passerby who saw large flames and a lot of smoke coming out the back side of Everett Floral. No injuries were reported.

At about 4 a.m., a second fire was discovered a few blocks away in a dumpster. Everett Police say that fire was at the smoldering stage when it was discovered and did not cause any damage beyond the dumpster.

Both of the fires are considered suspicious and are being investigated as possible arson.
