MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say two Phoenix residents died in a collision Sunday afternoon on Interstate 5 in southern Oregon, a mile south of Rogue River.

Police say 68-year-old Frank Albert Ringgard and 81-year-old Helen R. Sorena, were in pickup that clipped a car while making a lane change. The pickup rolled several times into the median. Ringgard was not using a seat belt and was ejected. Sorena was wearing a seat belt but also died at the scene.

The car spun out in the media and the two occupants were not injured.
