Nighttime paving will close ramps on Interstate 5 near Woodland starting Sunday.

Contractors will alternate ramp closures at exits 21 and 22 through Thursday to minimize driver impact.

WSDOT says to expect closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the following schedule:

  • Sunday, Tuesday: The northbound offramp from Dike Road (Exit 22) and southbound onramp to I-5.
  • Monday, Wednesday: The southbound offramp from Dike Road (Exit 22) and northbound onramp to I-5.
  • Thursday: The southboud offramp from state Highway 503 (Exit 21) and northboud onramp to I-5.

The construction is part of a repaving project on I-5 between the East Fork Lewis River Bridge to Todd Road.

Drivers can stay informed of traffic impacts by visiting WSDOT’s travel alerts and

construction update web pages.
