JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jared Gaither will be the third player to start at left tackle for the San Diego Chargers, playing in their Monday night game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Gaither replaces Brandon Dombrowski, whom the Chargers made inactive. Dombrowski had been filling in for Marcus McNeill, who suffered a neck stinger Nov. 10 against Oakland and was put on injured reserve last week. Gaither played in 10 games for the Kansas City Chiefs until the Chargers claimed him off waivers last week.

The Chargers also activated wide receiver Malcom Floyd and right guard Louis Vasquez.

The Jaguars scratched Deji Karim, their kickoff returner and backup to running back Maurice Jones-Drew. The Jaguars activated rookie running back DuJuan Harris, who has been on the practice squad all year.
