Green, Vasquez practice for Chargers

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Chargers, if nothing else, look a little healthier as they prepare for Monday night’s game at Jacksonville.

Left guard Tyronne Green, who has missed two games with a hand injury, practiced again Thursday and it seems he’ll be fit when the Chargers (4-7) try to end their six-game losing streak.

What’s not as clear is just where Green will play.

Brandyn Dombrowski, who is nursing an ankle injury, has yet to practice this week. Dombrowski is the left tackle taking over for Pro Bowler Marcus McNeill after he was placed on injured reserve with a neck stinger.

With Dombrowski hobbling, Green could be pushed outside to protect quarterback Philip Rivers’ blindside at left tackle. If so, the left guard spot would likely be filled by veteran Tony Moll.

Right guard Louis Vasquez, who missed two games with a sprained ankle, practiced Thursday.
