MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A 75-year-old Medford man who ran over his wife in the garage of their home pleaded guilty to a drunken driving charge.
In return for the plea Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court, the district attorney’s office dropped a negligent homicide charge.
The Mail Tribune reports (http://is.gd/Oi8fBF ) Donald Edwin Green was sentenced to 20 days in jail and two years’ probation.
Seventy-three-year-old Pauline Green died in November 2010.
Her husband told investigators he didn’t see her on the floor when he pulled the car into the garage.
