Columbia River 52, Scappoose, Ore., 38 — Isaiah Smith scored 23 points as the Chieftains topped the Indians on the second day of the Capital City Classic at The Hoop in Salem, Ore.

Columbia River (7-1) will close out the tournament by facing unbeaten Dayton (Ore.) at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.

The Chieftains took early command against Scappoose with a 22-point first quarter.

Devin Bolds scored 11 points and Chad Love 10 for River.
