Timmy Hergert scored 35 points but Heritage’s bid for its first win the season was sunk by a Lewiston basket with 6.6 seconds left at the Hermiston (Ore.) Tournament.

The Timberwolves had one last chance to tie or take the lead, but turned the ball over before they could get a shot off.

Danny Gray had nine points and 12 rebounds for Heritage (0-9), which will play host Hermiston at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the third-place game.
