Lehigh sinks Saint Peter’s 76-67

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — C.J. McCollum notched a double-double, scoring 22 points and pulling down 11 rebounds, to lead Lehigh over Saint Peter’s 76-67 Wednesday night.

Holden Greiner added 19 points and Gabe Knutson 10 for the Mountain Hawks (10-4), who rebounded after dropping their last game to No. 16 Michigan State, 90-81 on Thursday. Lehigh has won four of its last five and 10 of 12.

Coming out of halftime tied at 34-all, Greiner sandwiched a pair of free throws and a 3-pointer around a Knutson layup, sparking a 12-4 Lehigh run out of the break. Greiner was 4 of 7 from beyond the arc.

The Mountain Hawks led the rest of the way, outscoring the Peacocks 42-33 in the second half to seal it.

Darius Conley and Lamin Fulton scored 16 points apiece to lead Saint Peter’s (2-11), which has lost seven straight. The Peacocks opened the season with three straight losses.
