Girls basketball: Prairie 73, Culver City (CA) 28

The Prairie Falcons were confident they would win, but not even they thought it would be this easy.

The Falcons reached the semifinals of the West Coast Jamboree with a 45-point rout of Culver City, Calif., in Antioch, Calif.

Megan Lindsley connected on four 3-pointers, Heather Corral had three, and both Falcons totalled 20 points. Cori Woodward added 17 for Prairie.

The Falcons (7-1), who shot 52 percent from the floor, won each quarter by double figures.

Corral also had eight rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.

The Falcons take on Dos Pueblos of Goleta, Calif., at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
