Girls basketball: Prairie 68, Dos Pueblos (Calif.) 47

Jackie Lanz busted out of a mini-scoring slump with 19 points, leading the Falcons into the championship game of the West Coast Jamboree in Antioch, Calif.

Lanz buried five of Prairie’s nine 3-pointers. She also had eight rebounds.

Heather Corral added 15 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and four blocked shots.

Cori Woodward had 14 points and six assists. Kelsey Asplund had six points and six rebounds.

Dos Pueblos of Goleta, Calif., made 18 3-pointers in its quarterfinal victory Wednesday. But on Thursday, the Falcons defense smothered the perimiter, limiting their opponents to five 3-pointers.

Prairie will face Buena High School of Ventura in the championship game. Tip-off is 7:30 p.m. Friday.
