EAST WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) — Police say a 62-year-old East Wenatchee homeowner took down an intruder and held him in a headlock until police arrived.

The Wenatchee World reports the man’s wife was awakened by barking dogs early Tuesday and saw the intruder in her bedroom doorway. She called to her husband who was in another room. He grabbed the man and made him drop a knife.

No one was injured. A 39-year-old Wenatchee man is jailed for investigation of burglary.
