Nuremberg wins 4th straight in Bundesliga

BERLIN (AP) — Nuremberg won its fourth straight Bundesliga game, defeating visiting Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 Friday night as Julian Schieber, Robert Mak and Almog Cohen scored.

Nuremberg (10-8-5) moved into sixth place with 35 points. Frankfurt (8-12-3) is 12th with 27 and has been the worst club in the league since the winter break, going 0-5-1 and getting outscored 11-0.

LYON, France (AP) — Lyon routed Nancy 4-0 in the French league on goals by Yoann Gourcuff, Jeremy Pied, Miralem Pjanic and Jimmy Briand, the latter on a spectacular 89th-minute bicycle kick.

Second-place Lyon (11-5-8) closed within four points of Lille (12-2-9), which is at Montpellier (9-7-7) on Sunday. Nancy (11-5-8) is 14th.
