JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. (AP) — More than 120 airmen from the 4th Airlift Squadron have returned after a four-month deployment to support the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The military base says the C-17 squadron flew more than 12,900 hours, moved more than 48,000 passengers and delivered more than 91.4 million pounds of cargo.

Family and friends are welcoming the airmen back Thursday.
