Wofford blows out The Citadel 78-60

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — Noah Dahlman scored 15 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead Wofford to a 78-60 victory over The Citadel Thursday night.

The Terriers (6-8, 3-0 Southern Conference) led 9-8 early and stretched their lead to 31-16 after a 22-8 run that was capped by a three-point play from Kevin Giltner with 4:04 left before halftime.

Giltner scored 13, Cameron Rundles and Jamar Diggs added 12 apiece and Brad Loesing 10 for Wofford, which led 35-25 at halftime.

The Citadel scored the first basket of the game, but finished 22 of 58 from the field (37.9 percent), including 1 of 14 from 3-point range (7.1 percent).

Mike Groselle scored 19 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs (5-10, 1-2). Cameron Wells scored 17 and Zach Urbanus 11.

A layup from Rundles with 1:08 left gave the Terriers a 76-56 lead, their largest of the game.
