Northeast Hazel Dell — The bimonthly newsletter published and distributed by the Northeast Hazel Dell Neighborhood Association has won a silver award for excellence. The award was announced at the annual Neighborhoods USA conference, held in Anchorage, Alaska, in late May. “Newsletters entries were evaluated individually and awarded points based on criteria that included layout, consistency, content, relevance and overall appearance,” NUSA said. Northeast Hazel Dell was one of eight silver winners from across the nation; there were also five bronze winners and 14 gold winners.
