ELMONT, N.Y. (AP) — Belmont Park has canceled live racing on Thursday because of expected record-breaking high temperatures.
Temperatures are expected to reach the high 90s in the New York metropolitan area. The weather is expected to be cooler by the weekend for the running of the Belmont Stakes.
Simulcasting will be available at Aqueduct and the Belmont Cafe.
