Kindergarden Kid wins the Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Kindergarden Kid beat Lime Rickey by 212 lengths Friday in the $53,900 allowance feature on the turf at Belmont Park.

A 4-year-old gelding trained by Barclay Tagg, Kindergarden Kid led all the way for his third win in eight starts. Cornelio Velasquez was aboard as he ran 1 1-16 miles in 1:42.41.

Kindergarden Kid paid $6.90, $4.10 and $3. Lime Rickey returned $5.50 and $3.90 while Hariolus paid $3.30 to show.
