NEW YORK (AP) — Thomas Hill rallied to beat Decisive Move by 2 1-2 lengths on Friday in the $82,000 allowance feature on turf at Belmont Park.
Seventh in the early stages, Thomas Hill powered past the pack on a four-wide sweep with Rajiv Maragh aboard for trainer Mitchell Friedman. The 4-year-old gelding got his fourth win in 27 starts.
The time was 1:26.34 for the seven furlongs on the course rated good.
Thomas Hill paid $16.80, $7.30 and $3.10. Decisive Move returned $4.20 and $2.90, while Jess Not Jesse paid $2.20 to show as the 9-5 favorite.
