Car wash raises more than $1,000 for charity

East Minnehaha — Jacobus Carstar held a car-wash fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Miss Clark County scholarship organization June 11. During the day, 54 cars were washed, and more than $1,000 was raised. Miss Washington Jacquie Brown and Miss Clark County Katie Parsons donated their time.
