Milledge homers twice, in White Sox’s win

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Lastings Milledge hit a pair of home runs and drove in three runs, helping a Chicago White Sox split-squad beat the Colorado Rockies 12-6 Thursday.

Paul Konerko had three hits, including a double, and drove in a run for the White Sox, who had lost four of their last five. Ramon Castro and Jordan Danks each had two RBIs.

Rockies’ starter Ubaldo Jimenez gave up his first runs of the spring, allowing seven runs on eight hits in 4 1-3 innings. He also walked four and struck out two.

Tony Pena made his sixth appearance and his first start for the White Sox, giving up a run on three hits in two innings. He walked one and struck out one.

Mike McKenry hit a three-run homer and Todd Helton, Jonathan Herrera and Cole Garner each drove in a run for the Rockies.
