Police this morning are pursuing a man reportedly driving recklessly a gold Pontiac coupe.

The man was nearly involved in two head-on collisions before crashing at the Chevron gas station at West 39th Street and Fruit Valley Road, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian. Dispatchers said he then backed up and continued on.

The man was last seen near Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard and Northeast Chkalov Road.
