Garden readied for spring planting

Day of Caring: Vancouver School of Arts and Academics students assist WSU Master Gardeners and Growing Groceries Mentors, Bobbi Bellomy, Marcia Grubb, and Barbara Nordstrom at the Hazel Dell School and Community Garden.

Hazel Dell — Students from the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics assisted in service projects throughout Vancouver in a Day of Caring on April 27. Fifteen students worked at Hazel Dell Elementary School and Community Garden spreading soil, pruning herbs, transplanting strawberries and weeding.
